These companies generally start hiring from December. Apply early as there are chances that you will have quite a few rounds of interview and the process might take some time. You should target to finish the process and get the complete offer before April of the year you plan to join. The reason for this is that H1B applications generally start from April and the faster you apply, the better it is for you.
